Zach has been a health and wellness coach for over 10 years.
Zach began his journey into health and fitness, and found his passion for helping others, through his own journey with leukemia in his teenage years. After his battle with cancer, Zach realized a healthy life includes proper nutrition, exercise, healthy relationships with family, friends, and lovers, but most importantly a healthy mind and outlook towards life.
During his childhood and adolescence, Zach excelled in many sports including football, basketball, and soccer and decided to blend his love for athletics with his passion for helping others into personal training and wellness coaching.
Zach’s education began at the University of Nevada-Reno, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Health Ecology (Kinesiology) and a minor in Speech Communications. After graduating, Zach became a certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. He is also a Certified Health Coach through the National Society of Health Coaches (NSHC) and a certified TRX Instructor.
Zach looks for the fun in exercise, and life, and relays that to everyone he meets. He believes that if you’re not having fun doing it, you’re probably doing it wrong. We are blessed to have this one life, and you might as well achieve your goals and enjoy all that life has to offer! Zach would love to help you reach those goals and open your eyes to the beauty that surrounds you.
