Add it all up, and you have the makings for a really great personal trainer. This is Morgan Vitti, the newest personal trainer at Framework Personal Training in Reno.

The Credentials

Morgan is a certified personal trainer thought the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), with a separate certification in women’s health and fitness through NASM. She’s also currently pursuing her degree in nutrition at the University of Nevada, and she’s a competitive power lifter too.

The Real Credentials

Morgan clearly knows her way around the gym, but what sets her apart from the rest of Reno’s personal trainers?

“Health and fitness are my passions, like most personal trainers,” says Morgan, “but I think the main driving force that caused me to pursue a career in personal training is my passion and drive to help people. I know it can be intimidating to walk in a gym and not know exactly what you’re doing. I want to help people feel confident in a gym, reach their health and fitness goals, and learn skills that will help them continue to maintain a healthy lifestyle after they are done training with me.”

The Fitness Philosophy

“I think my certification says it all,” says Morgan. “I am a personal trainer. I put individual time and thought into every client’s programing because every client is different. One fitness program might work great for client A but have little to no results for client B. My philosophy is training that is truly personal!”

The Food/Fitness Approach

Through both personal experience and her education at UNR, Morgan has seen the effects of nutrition. “What we eat plays a huge role in not only our health, but our performance and results we see in the gym,” Morgan says. “I love to help clients navigate the ‘food world,’ which can be very challenging, and learn to integrate what they do in the kitchen with what they do in the gym in order to maximize their results.

The Work

Morgan believes relationships matter, and that’s especially true in the personal trainer/client dynamic. “I offer a free consultation for every new client so we can get to know each other,” she says. “I believe in having a good relationship with my clients in order to build trust and get the most out of your training.”

After the initial consultation, clients begin weekly sessions and they can expect personalized, focused and effective training direction geared to their fitness goals. “I also like to check up on how my client is liking their workouts and if they think the program is giving them the results they want,” Morgan says. “I find it important to add elements that the client enjoys to their fitness program. My two goals for every session I have with a client are to enjoy what you’re doing and get one step closer to reaching your goals.”
